Take the subway like a “New Yorker”
This project focuses on addressing the challenges of navigating New York City's subway system, particularly in Clinton Hill, as identified through research methods including noise analysis, stakeholder mapping, interviews, and surveys. Findings revealed that unclear subway guidance is a significant issue for commuters.
To tackle this, I designed a series of engaging and informative flyers to help people better understand NYC subway signs. These flyers double as a way to pass the time when there is no mobile signal in the subway. To distribute them, I created a unique dispenser box that randomly provides these guides to subway riders, adding an element of surprise and utility to their commute.
